Why should we not reach for the best possible outcomes for our loves and our society as a whole? Why should we just throw up our hands and say that nothing noble or ideal is worth doing? That's just SAD. (And I am not sure how fascism has anything to do with marriage and the foundations of a good society.)

As for the 50% statistic, that is not an accurate number, and has become anecdotal in our society-- a statistical urban legend. Here's an article that shares more about that: http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2014/May/Divorce-Shocker-Most-Marriages-Do-Make-It/

I believe in ideal-- not perfect-- homes. I believe in true love, in marriage, and in absolute commitment. And I believe that God has not only ordained, but CREATED marriage between a man and a woman, all the way at the beginning of everything with Adam and Eve.

May God bless you in your pursuit of truth. I am so grateful for my own convictions.

With love,
Mama RachelRachel Keppnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17193834789450018423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4144795012504114230.post-52128027362247916202015-09-09T01:51:54.701-07:002015-09-09T01:51:54.701-07:00Please don't take this to heart. You believe marriage to be this traditional union between one man and one woman. Yet you live in this ideological ,pseudo-fascist mindset of "purity" where a set model of society is possible, but its simply not. If marriage is the foundation of a society, why do 50% of marriages end in divorce? I don't know about you but this seems a very weak foundation for a society. This is just my two cents but it would be appreciated if you gave a reply.
