CHOOSING to Be a Mother

The link below is to a great article by a pro-choice feminist (I know, I know-- hear me out, gentle readers!) who writes for the Washington Post.

Here is a sample quote: "If the pro-choice stance is so precarious that a story about someone who chose to carry a risky pregnancy to term undermines it, then CBS is not the problem."

Read the whole article-- I know you'll love it! :-)

  1. I loved it! Isn't it strange - everyone are allowed to be respected for what thay believe, and are allowed to shout it from the roof-tops BUT for the religious people. Religion and faith is not pc topics in any of the western countries, and if you stand up for it you get ridiculed, mistrusted and even hated. If ever there was a day when right is wrong and wrong is right, it is today.

    And yay for old-fashioned motherhood!

  2. Thanks, Sarah! It's true-- freedom of speech for all, unless you mention God. In my opinion, the pro-choice stance IS precarious, because it goes against the true principle that we should protect life.

    Thanks for your comment! :-)
