We live in a world that is constantly misjudging the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many reasons, but one in particular we hear all too often is that we LDS women are "oppressed."
Nothing can be further than the truth!
Sister Sheri Dew, formerly of the church's General Relief Society presidency, explains wonderfully how this is NOT true.
I hope you enjoy this short video as much as I have!
I love thi video. Oh yeah, I love being an LDS woman! Where did you get this video Rachel? I'm gonna have to hunt it down and share it on my own blog. Thanks!
I got it from a friend on Facebook. Apparently it's not "listed," so you can only watch it if you have the link. Hopefully, this link works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dUI79EdDH9E

Awesome, I loved this one. As woman in the church we are far from oppressed. Blessings on this one.
ReplyDelete:) Thanks for sharing Rachel.
ReplyDeleteYet, sadly, there are some LDS women who do feel like they are oppressed. She makes excellent points, I really liked this.
ReplyDeleteLoved this! Thanks for sharing!
